Sr. Principal Systems Engineer
to join its team. This position is in
Roy, UT
and will support the Sentinel program, supporting the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for ICBM Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure. What You Will Get To Do
The Sentinel program has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer to join the team supporting activities including use case development, requirements definition, requirements allocation, requirements traceability, functional decomposition, interface definition, verification. Specific duties to include, but are not limited to the following: Collaborate with program IPT counterparts to develop rigorous and proper systems engineering and design artifacts. Work with technical teams and stakeholders to develop and mature WS design of a large program. Help develop and incorporate the appropriate requirements for the system and ensure that they are properly represented in the model. Develop systems architecture using Cameo Enterprise Architecture (behavioral, structural, analytical). Contribute to system requirements development, management, and analysis. Develop unifying model techniques, procedures, and processes (for model development, tool integration, and team integration). Requires a Bachelor's degree in STEM with 8 years of experience or 6 years with a Master's degree or 4 years with a PhD. An additional 4 years of direct CM/DM experience may be used in lieu of a degree. Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years. Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs. 2+ years’ experience in ICBM (MMIII or Sentinel) or complex aerospace/defense systems. 2+ years’ experience in developing and executing Systems Engineering process governance documentation in a DoD Engineering and Manufacturing Development phase. 1+ years’ experience in team environments with technical leadership responsibilities. 2+ years’ experience in creating, updating, and maintaining requirements specifications in DOORS. 2+ years’ experience on large scale / complex system development across multiple phases (preliminary design, detailed design, integration and test, verification and sell off, transition to production). 2+ years’ experience in creating, updating, and maintaining Model-Based Systems Engineering products. Preferred Qualifications Familiar with SE events (e.g., PDR, CDR). Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience resolving issues and providing technical support. Capable of working with minimal direction and in team environments. Experience leading SE events (e.g., PDR, CDR). Strong understanding of complex engineering systems and related processes (configuration management, tooling, software, etc.). Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects and present to customers. Familiar with Teamcenter/CPLM. Experience with Agile. Primary Level Salary Range: $118,600.00 - $178,000.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline and considers factors such as scope, responsibilities, candidate experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Depending on the position, overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus may apply. Long-term incentives may be available for VP/Director roles.
