and will support the Sentinel program. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure. What You Will Get To Do
The Sentinel program has an exciting opportunity for a Staff Systems Engineer to join the team supporting activities including use case development, requirements definition, requirements allocation, requirements traceability, functional decomposition, interface definition, verification. Collaborate with program IPT counterparts to develop rigorous and proper systems engineering and design artifacts. Work with technical teams and stakeholders to develop and mature WS design of a large program. Help develop and incorporate the appropriate requirements for the system and ensure that they are properly represented in the model. Develop systems architecture using Cameo Enterprise Architecture (behavioral, structural, analytical). Contribute to system requirements development, management, and analysis. Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 12 years of experience with Bachelor's degree, 8 years of experience with Master's degree, 6 years of experience with PhD Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs 4+ years of experience in ICBM (MMIII or Sentinel) OR complex aerospace/defense systems 4+ years of experience in developing and executing Systems Engineering process governance documentation in a DoD Engineering and Manufacturing Development phase 3+ years of experience in team environments with technical leadership responsibilities 3+ years of experience in creating, updating, and maintaining requirements specifications in DOORS 2+ years of experience on large scale / complex system development experience across multiple phases of a development program: preliminary design, detailed design, integration and test, verification and sell off, transition to production. 3+ years of experience in creating, updating, and maintaining Model-Based Systems Engineering products Experience with SE events (e.g., PDR, CDR) Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading SE events (e.g., PDR, CDR) Strong understanding and broad application of complex engineering systems (engineering standards, configuration management, material review board, process control, tooling, facilities, software, etc.) for the development of complex systems of systems. Strong oral and written communication skills, including demonstrated experience with high value customer presentations, with ability to focus on multiple projects with competing priorities.
