Overview
Consulting - Business Transformation - Life Sciences R&D - Senior at EY. Location: Anywhere in Country. EY’s Life Sciences Consulting Services helps clients balance protecting the business with driving measurable value across the R&D value chain, including discovery, pre-clinical, clinical, translational, and post-market surveillance / real-world evidence in life sciences and healthcare settings. This senior role supports and leads client engagements, builds solutions, and drives market innovation within a team serving large pharma, biotechnology, academic medical centers, health systems, cancer centers, children’s hospitals, and more. Your Responsibilities
A majority of your time will be spent supporting client engagement teams and delivering professional services in life sciences and health domains. Specific focus areas include strategic planning, business transformation, organizational structure and operating model optimization, clinical trial acceleration, complex data analytics, research compliance and regulatory affairs, and technology implementation support. Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, health, or a related field 3-4 years of relevant experience in management consulting in life sciences and/or health, and/or direct industry experience in an R&D setting (e.g., pharma, biotech, CRO, academic medical centers, cancer centers) Working knowledge of key R&D functions, including preclinical research, clinical trial execution / clinical development, regulatory affairs, and quality or safety functions Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience applying structured consulting methods Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to synthesize complex issues for diverse audiences including senior executives Executive presence and professionalism in client-facing settings Willingness to travel based on project requirements Proficiency with core business tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint) Ideally, you’ll also have
Advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD) in life sciences, business, public health, or related discipline Prior R&D / clinical trials / clinical development consulting experience Experience supporting R&D transformations, operating model design, or process optimization Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (GxP, ICH, FDA) and compliance in R&D Exposure to tools used in R&D and clinical development (e.g., CTMS) What We Look For

Comprehensive compensation and benefits; salary ranges vary by location (e.g., $97,300 to $178,300 on a national basis; higher ranges for NYC Metro, WA state, and parts of CA).
