The Opportunity
EY has a robust, purpose-driven life sciences R&D practice that aims to inspire and enable clients to accelerate patient impact. This senior role will support and lead client engagements, build solutions, and innovate in the market. Our practice works with large pharma, biotechnology, academic medical centers, health systems, cancer centers, children’s hospitals, and more. You will focus on providing client services in: strategic planning, business transformation, organizational structure and operating model optimization, clinical trial acceleration, complex data analytics, research compliance and regulatory affairs, and technology implementation support. Responsibilities
Support client engagement teams and work with a variety of clients to deliver professional services in life sciences and health domains. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, health, or related field 3-4 years of relevant experience in management consulting in life sciences and/or health, and/or direct industry experience in an R&D setting (e.g., pharma, biotech, CRO, academic medical center, cancer centers, etc.) Working knowledge of key R&D functions including preclinical research, clinical trial execution / development, regulatory affairs, and quality or safety functions Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to apply structured consulting methods Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage with senior stakeholders Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Willingness to travel based on project requirements Ideally, advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD) in life sciences, business, public health, or related discipline Prior R&D / clinical trials / clinical development consulting experience Experience supporting R&D transformations, operating model design, or process optimization Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (GxP, ICH, FDA) and compliance in R&D environments Exposure to tools used in R&D and clinical development (e.g., CTMS) What We Look For
