Overview
I am working with a boutique firm in Orange County, CA that is growing and looking to add an Associate Attorney to their practice. A successful candidate will enjoy working with a small team, mentorship, and the opportunity to grow and handle multiple types of cases. This is a hybrid role, starting at 4 days on-site then transitioning to 3 days on-site. Billable hour requirement is 1700. Compensation will be based on education and experience, with a base pay range of $140,000.00/yr - $165,000.00/yr. Full benefits and a bonus structure are in place.
Responsibilities
Work with two partners handling general liability, business litigation, attorney and accountant malpractice defense, and some probate litigation.
Meet the 1700-hour annual billable target; bonuses available after 1700 hours are reached.
Hybrid work arrangement with on-site days varying (starting 4 days on-site for the first month, then fewer on-site days).
Maintain a laid-back in-office culture where jeans and a t-shirt are acceptable unless appearances are required.
Collaborate on cases for a client base that includes an MLB team.
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of insurance defense litigation experience.
Minimum 3 years of civil litigation experience.
Admitted to practice in California (CA).
Compensation & Benefits Base pay range: $140,000.00/yr - $165,000.00/yr. Pretty reasonable additional bonuses and full benefits are in place.
