Mid Level Associate Attorney - Commercial Litigation This opportunity is with a top-ranking boutique firm in the Los Angeles area. The firm has experienced growth, long-tenured staff, and a collaborative, largely remote team. The role involves defending consumer claims in State and Federal Court, including class actions, with a focus on complex business litigation. The team works with premier in-house legal departments and offers significant client contact and an individualized partnership track if desired. Base pay range: $175,000.00/yr - $225,000.00/yr Location: Manhattan Beach and Downtown LA offices available for in-person work; remote work is supported. Responsibilities
Defend consumer claims in State and Federal Court and participate in class action defense. Engage in complex business litigation work, with exposure to trials/arbitrations; participate in 1800 billable hours annually. Work closely with premier in-house legal departments and maintain significant client contact. Contribute to case strategy, discovery, and motion practice; seek opportunities for client development and potential partnership tracking. Collaborate with a team of 7 attorneys and a paralegal; operate in a remote-friendly environment. Qualifications
3-7 years of complex business litigation experience Preferably big law experience Strong motion practice, discovery, and familiarity with depositions Taking and defending depositions is preferred; exposure to depositions is required Top 50 law school Admitted in CA and in good standing Comfortable working remotely Offices in Manhattan Beach and Downtown LA for those who prefer in-person work Benefits
