Senior Business Development Analyst - Capital Markets role at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. The Senior Business Development Analyst supports the execution of marketing and business development initiatives for the firm’s Capital Markets practice and serves as a key member of the Corporate business development team. The position is available as a hybrid work schedule. The primary location for this job posting is in Palo Alto, but other locations may be listed. The actual base pay offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, level of education, professional certifications and licenses, and work location. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Business Development Manager for Capital Markets: support and drive marketing and business development initiatives for the Capital Markets group. Conduct in-depth research on markets, industries, companies, and individuals for corporate attorneys. Deliver data using the appropriate firm technologies and services, including external research databases (CRM (Salesforce), IntroHive, Intranet, Library Services, Pitchbook, Capital IQ, IPO Vital Signs, Deal Point Data, etc.). Contribute to the execution of winning pitches in conjunction with the firm’s Pitch & Proposal team. Implement best practices around event preparation, follow-up and ROI analysis. Work closely with attorneys to ensure they are prepared for events, including developing briefing materials on attendees. Assist in tracking results and preparing responsive reports and analyses. Help identify and curate key attorney experience for league tables, deal sheets, pitches, award submissions, and other opportunities. Liaise with internal departments and collaborate on cross-departmental projects when needed. Support firmwide marketing and business development initiatives when necessary. Act as a resource and informal mentor to junior team members. Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

Minimum of 4 years of experience in a professional services business development function supporting transactional practices. Experience supporting corporate practices and supporting events a big plus. Exemplary communication skills, both verbal and written. Extremely detail-oriented, with superior proofreading and fact checking skills. Efficient, highly organized and able to stay productive under pressure with tight deadlines. Proficient in the use of PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and database applications. Aptitude for learning new software, systems and procedures quickly. Able to work independently and in team environments. Strong enterprise skills and initiative to identify opportunities and act on them. Self-motivated, positive attitude, and a deep curiosity about technology and life sciences. The primary location for this job posting is in Palo Alto, but other locations may be listed. The anticipated pay ranges are: New York, Palo Alto, and San Francisco: $102,000 - $138,000 per year Austin, Boston, Boulder, District of Columbia, Los Angeles, San Diego, Salt Lake City, Seattle and all other locations: $91,800 - $124,200 per year The compensation for this position may include a discretionary year-end merit bonus based on performance.
