Managers in our Alternative Investment Funds practice oversee and complete tax projects; provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance for a variety of clients, including hedge funds, private equity, real estate, fund of funds and venture capital. Responsibilities: Engage in business development activities (i.e. prepare proposals, present in webinars, collaborate with other service lines to market comprehensive tax strategies for prospective clients, etc.) Maintain communication with clients to ensure satisfaction, meet deadlines, remain current on legislative changes, and lead change effectively. Conduct primary and secondary review of complex federal and state tax returns. Supervise, train, mentor and evaluate the performance of Seniors, Associates, and Interns. Qualifications

4+ years relevant work experience in an accounting firm, with at least 3 years of Alternative Fund experience Bachelor’s and/or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field (Preferred) Advanced credential allowing for client representation before the Internal Revenue Service required (i.e. CPA or JD) Self-starter with the initiative to seek opportunities and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Proficient use of technology Compensation And Benefits

Our firm offers competitive base compensation, benefits package, and a discretionary employee bonus program for eligible employees based on individual and firm performance metrics per the defined program guidelines. For individuals hired to work in San Francisco, the expected salary range for this role is $125,000 - $201,900; the actual salary offer can vary based upon employee qualifications. Benefits: Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our firm’s 401(k) plan upon hire. We offer paid time off, beginning at 160 hours annually and provides twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Compensation: In addition to competitive base compensation, our firm offers annual discretionary bonuses based on firm and individual performance and other forms of discretionary compensation that would be offered to the hired applicant in addition to their established salary range scale.
