Serve as the Sourcing Manager for Capital Construction & Equipment, reporting to the Strategic Sourcing Lead. Support the sourcing strategy and develop/execute the corresponding sourcing plan. Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to deliver efficient and effective sourcing solutions aligned with organizational goals. Contribute to the development of Strategic Sourcing Go-To-Market plans aligned to Business and Category Strategies. Conduct in-depth market analysis, manage the sourcing process, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and engage with suppliers to achieve optimal terms and performance. Lead global strategic sourcing initiatives to drive cost optimization, supplier performance, and risk management. Execute end-to-end supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract management following best procurement practices. Analyze procurement-related datasets and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies. Use value tracking and data analytics to generate insights, create reports, and support strategic decision-making. Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business objectives; act as a trusted advisor on market trends, supplier capabilities, and sourcing strategies. Ensure compliance with procurement policies, risk mitigation strategies, and sustainability initiatives. Partner with Legal, Compliance, Data Privacy, and Cybersecurity to manage procurement risk and ensure alignment with best practices. Provide guidance to junior team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Manage Capital Construction and Equipment procurement activities in line with regulatory, contractual, and operational risk requirements. Support alignment of sourcing execution with overall procurement strategy and ensure effective cross-functional collaboration. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Doctorate degree OR Masters degree and 2 years of Sourcing experience Or Bachelors degree and 4 years of Sourcing experience Or Associates degree and 8 years of Sourcing experience Or High school diploma / GED and 10 years of Sourcing experience Preferred Qualifications
End-to-end Strategic Sourcing Experience in capital construction, equipment or Facility Services categories Demonstrated leadership in Capital Construction and Equipment category, including vendor management, cost optimization, and performance measurement Experience negotiating with suppliers in Life Sciences Strong supplier negotiation and contracting skills Experience with Global Procurement e-Sourcing, value tracking, and CLM tools (e.g., Workday Strategic Sourcing, Sirion Labs) Strong analytical skills to create reports, monitor value metrics, and ensure compliance Understanding of sourcing management, supplier relationship management, and contract lifecycle management Experience leading large cross-functional teams and managing complex global capital projects in a matrixed environment Financial, legal, and contractual fluency for Capital Construction and Equipment agreements Exceptional ability to communicate sourcing strategies and influence senior partners Familiarity with procurement platforms such as Ariba and ERP systems Understanding of regulatory landscapes with the ability to navigate compliance requirements What you can expect from us
