Fixed Income Credit Analyst, CMBS
We are seeking a Fixed Income Credit Analyst to join the Structured Finance Research Team. The Analyst will cover CMBS across investment-grade and high-yield opportunities, with a focus on concentrated risk (e.g., SASB, data centers). The Structured Finance investment team oversees a significant asset base and the Analyst will conduct deep fundamental and quantitative analysis to support investment recommendations.

The role is part of the Structured Finance Research Team and will be fully integrated into the investment process, collaborating with credit analysts, equity analysts, portfolio managers, traders, and macro strategists. The position may be based in Boston or New York. Responsibilities
Creation and maintenance of detailed financial models to aid in analyzing existing and prospective investments Crafting and communicating analyses and investment recommendations that add value to client portfolios Providing deal-level updates to respond to secondary market opportunities and regulatory requirements Attending and contributing to internal and external investment meetings Essential Skills
Investment acumen and passion for markets, research, and fixed income investing, with strong analytical and quantitative skills Superior collaboration and influencing skills; ability to build trusted internal and external relationships and articulate investment views clearly Growth mindset and intellectual curiosity with a global perspective and openness to innovation Qualifications
Strong fundamental credit research skills with knowledge of CMBS; experience in other Structured Finance assets is a plus Minimum of five years’ credit experience on the buy-side or sell-side focused on CMBS Strong technology skills including programming (e.g., Python) and database proficiency (SQL) Ability to analyze large data sets, set priorities, and execute a research agenda High initiative and experience developing value-added investment recommendations Independence of thought, entrepreneurial mindset, and global perspective Undergraduate degree required; MBA/MSF and CFA/CAIA preferred Location
The Fixed Income Credit Analyst may be based in Wellington’s Global Headquarters in Boston, MA or the New York Office. Benefits
Base salary range: USD 100,000 - 225,000. The compensation package also includes variable pay and a comprehensive benefits program. The company supports a flexible work arrangement, requiring four days in the office and one day remote per week.
