Lubricants Category Manager

is responsible for developing and executing sourcing & contracting strategies, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing commercial value for Phillips 66. The ideal candidate will be results-driven and lead procurement-related tasks and initiatives across the Lubricants business. This role requires close collaboration with third-party suppliers and Lubricants stakeholders to understand business needs, align on strategy, and drive an efficient procurement process in compliance with company policy. Responsibilities

Stakeholder Collaboration & Engagement: Act as a procurement liaison to Lubricants stakeholders, ensuring clear alignment on procurement process, policy, and priorities. Operational issue resolution: Efficiently coordinate resolution for tactical issues related to invoicing, shipping, quality, and other operational matters. Contracting & Risk Mitigation: Manage new and existing agreements throughout the contract lifecycle, including contract review, redlining, negotiation, and execution. Risk and obligation translation: Ensure understanding of business operations and related requirements to effectively translate into agreements that manage risk and ensure balanced obligations. Category Strategy & Management: Develop and implement category strategies aligned with business objectives to drive cost optimization, including market analysis, competitive assessments, and identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation. Strategic alignment: Partner with Lubricants leadership and stakeholders to anticipate future business requirements and align sourcing and contracting initiatives with roadmaps. Supplier Management: Manage relationships with assigned suppliers to ensure optimal performance and value, including managing supplier scorecards and tracking performance metrics. Performance monitoring: Monitor supplier performance, contract adherence, and compliance with agreed service levels. Business reviews: Conduct regular business reviews to ensure supplier alignment and performance with organizational and Lubricants objectives. Leadership: Promote compliance with the code of conduct, model ethical business behavior, and monitor suppliers/contractors to ensure alignment with the code; champion Phillips 66 vision and values. Required Qualifications

Legally authorized to work in the job posting country High School Diploma or GED Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate category strategies, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with stakeholders 3 or more years of procurement or lubricants/industry experience Preferred Qualifications

Working knowledge of procurement processes, procedures, practices, and techniques Proven ability to negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve cost savings and performance improvements Knowledge of the Lubricants Business Unit 5 or more years of procurement experience negotiating contracts and optimizing costs Experience with ERP and procurement systems (i.e., SAP, iCertis) Working knowledge of procurement processes, procedures, practices, and techniques Proven ability to negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve cost savings and performance improvements Total Rewards
