THE JOB:
The VP Regional Database Strategy and Operations is responsible for defining and executing the marketing campaign strategy and operational delivery for known customer segments, the MGM Rewards program, and external partners. Working closely with Revenue Management and Property Leadership, this role ensures campaigns are aligned with business goals and deliver maximum ROI. With direct P&L responsibility, the VP drives customer engagement, loyalty, and value through data-driven strategies while enhancing marketing efficiency and overall property performance. THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Lead campaign strategy and execution for all known customer segments, the MGM Rewards program, and external partners by directing teams that determine when, what, and to whom campaigns are delivered using data-driven insights.
Partner with Corporate and Regional property leadership to prioritize campaigns, manage cross-property tradeoffs, and ensure maximum return on investment.
Define and guide holistic offer strategies, with accountability for P&L management, budget adherence, and spend optimization.
Continuously improve customer engagement and campaign performance by recommending innovative strategies, optimizing lifecycle communications, and expanding omni-channel personalization.
Collaborate with Analytics, Data Science, and Technology teams to refine segmentation, enhance customer targeting, and influence long-term marketing systems and integrations.
Oversee campaign outcomes across assigned properties, including property-led initiatives, while aligning campaigns with broader revenue and customer engagement strategies.
Provide leadership and coaching to team members, ensuring performance feedback, career development, training, and succession planning.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree (preferred) and 10+ years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role (Director level or above) within the casino, marketing, hospitality, or related industry.
This leader will have proven expertise in customer engagement and messaging, including customer valuation, reinvestment strategies, and campaign optimization for gaming and non-gaming segments.
They will possess in-depth experience across marketing roles at multiple properties, with strong knowledge of campaign finance, performance drivers, and ROI measurement.
The candidate must be highly organized, able to prioritize conflicting duties, maintain timelines, and anticipate business needs through critical thinking and analysis.
They will demonstrate the ability to operate effectively at multiple levels—from resolving individual support issues to leading large-scale strategic programs—while driving measurable business outcomes.
