Overview
Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications, workflows, and customizations. Configure ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps, or others as required. Develop and maintain client scripts, business rules, UI actions, UI policies, and Script Includes. Build integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, etc. Customize forms, fields, and reports to meet business requirements. Participate in requirement gathering and technical design discussions. Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide timely resolutions. Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines. Support platform upgrades, patching, and new feature adoption. Document technical designs, configurations, and processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
3–5 years of hands-on development experience in ServiceNow.
Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture and capabilities.
Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting.
Experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST, SOAP, LDAP, SSO, etc.).
Familiarity with ITIL processes and ITSM best practices.
ServiceNow certifications (CSA mandatory; CIS or CAD preferred).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Good communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
