Overview
SharePoint Developer (Front End)- TS/SCI role at General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT). This full-time position supports Government activities in Annapolis Junction, MD or Sterling, VA. GDIT is a global technology and professional services company delivering consulting, technology and mission services to government agencies. Our work focuses on enterprise apps, with opportunities to contribute to load balancing integrations, enhance existing technologies, and shape the customer’s future infrastructure. In This Role, a Typical Day May Include:
Designs and defines system architecture and system design documentation for new or existing computer systems Analyzes user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology Incorporates new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts Responsible for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility Communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives What You’ll Need
Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a CI poly. Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA Security Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline + 10 years’ experience or equivalent combination of education, certification/training, or work/military experience Experience with SharePoint administration and configuration: Beyond development Strong knowledge of SharePoint APIs Experience in front-end programming languages, e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C++, etc. Experience managing SharePoint Online Experience managing SharePoint on-premises infrastructure and applications Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and managing SharePoint environment Experience in SharePoint Framework (SPFx) Solid proactive problem-solving skills GDIT Is Your Place
