LTS is seeking an experienced
Senior Accountant
to manage billing, accounts receivable, and general accounting functions within Deltek Costpoint. This role ensures accurate and compliant financial operations supporting our government contracts. This position is 100% remote and the successful candidate must be located in Virginia, Maryland or Washington D.C. Key Responsibilities
Prepare and submit accurate invoices in Deltek Costpoint per contract and FAR/CAS requirements. Coordinate with Project Managers to validate billing data and resolve issues. Monitor receivables and collections, keeping aging within 30 days. Record cash receipts and perform monthly bank reconciliations. Post recurring journal entries and assist with month-end close. Maintain fixed asset schedules and record monthly depreciation. Support audits and compliance reporting. Collaborate with external partners on state registration renewals. Required Skills And Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum of 10 years of overall professional experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on accounting experience in government contracting. Proficiency with Deltek Costpoint (GCS Premier experience a plus). Strong understanding of FAR, CAS, and GAAP. Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and communication abilities.
