onsemi is looking for a dynamic & experienced leader to drive our Aerospace and Defense Product Line. This position will be responsible for defining a strategic direction and leading the efforts to enable onsemi to be a key supplier of power products into aerospace and defense markets. This role requires a visionary leader who can drive innovation, deliver financial success, and establish long-term partnerships with key customers in A&D space. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of power electronics & power products, especially in HiRel addressing space and defense markets, and a proven track record in managing complex programs from conception to market launch. A strong leader to lead and manage a cross functional team across the company to drive business strategies and growth in targeted markets. Responsibilities
General Manager Head of Aerospace and Defense Business unit within Power Solutions group. Drive Business Unit Strategy, Engagement with onsemi Salesforce and Customers. Responsible for Business Unit Strategy, Product Marketing, Product Management, Business Management. P&L responsibilities Work with cross functional teams within onsemi. Develop and execute a clear vision and strategy for the A&D Business Unit, aligning it with the company’s broader goals. Identify and evaluate new market opportunities and emerging trends to maintain competitive advantage. Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality products and services that meet regulatory, safety, and performance standards. Promote the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies. Qualifications
Master’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Physics. MBA is a plus. Technical skills: strong understanding of power electronics systems and power products including Si, SiC and GaN. Knowledgeable of power ICs and systems addressing A&D markets. Experience around HiRel products is a plus. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex programs in a fast-paced environment. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present to senior leadership and external customers. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset and the ability to navigate ambiguity. Customer Focus: Demonstrated success in managing key accounts and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Visionary and innovative thinkers with a proactive mindset.
