Senior Principal System Performance Architect
Base pay range $297,600.00/yr - $402,600.00/yr In the Arm Central Technology Systems group we define SoC and system architectures and technology roadmaps across multiple sectors. We are looking for an experienced system performance architect to drive the definition and exploration of performance to craft the future of compute infrastructure performance across data center and networking domains. We work in small teams, so your contributions will make a difference.
Responsibilities
Define SoC system and subsystem use-case performance and analysis requirements.
Drive the analysis and testing of performance from models to RTL.
Partner with system architects, IP and technology teams to translate vision and roadmaps into achieved performant systems.
Engage with specialists across Arm, from modeling, RTL, FPGA, Silicon and software.
Explore and challenge the limits of system and IP performance capabilities.
Required Skills and Experience
At least 10 years SoC system performance experience using models, RTL simulation, emulation or FPGA.
Deep knowledge of infrastructure system architecture and performance including multi-die coherent memory systems and high-speed IO interfaces like PCIe.
Passion for analysis and improvement including performance, power, and area optimization.
Capable of working both in teams and independently.
High degree of initiative and a confident problem solver.
Excellent communicator, able to work and communicate at both a detailed and high level.
Nice To Have
Experience of the Arm architecture.
University degree (or equivalent experience) or PhD in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Analytics or a related field.

Salary Salary Range: $297,600-$402,600 per year. Salary is one component of Arm's offering; the total reward package will be discussed during recruitment.
