Overview
Material Resource Planner (MRP) – Location: San Diego, CA (Hybrid – 50% Onsite). Contract Duration: 12 mo. contract to hire.

What You’ll Do
Develop and maintain time-phased material plans based on BOMs, production schedules, and program timelines
Translate program demand into actionable planned orders and coordinate purchasing activities with Procurement
Monitor material status and availability across development, qualification, and production phases
Ensure MRP system data accuracy, including lead times, lot sizes, and reorder points
Drive resolution of material shortages by working closely with Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality
Assess material impacts from configuration changes and design updates
Identify and escalate risks to material readiness and delivery timelines
Collaborate with Engineering to validate BOM accuracy, manage part substitutions, and support early material needs
Contribute to program schedules, burn-down charts, and execution readiness metrics
What You Bring
2–5 years of experience in material planning, production scheduling, or MRP systems
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data-driven decision making
Experience in aerospace, defense, medical, or aviation industries preferred
Familiarity with NetSuite, JobBOSS, or similar ERP/MRP systems
Understanding of sourcing, vendor management, and purchase order coordination
Experience working with electronic materials and regulated environments is a plus

Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $48.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
