Castalia Systems is seeking a Mid-Level Defense Industry Analyst, CMG, to support the government’s all-source intelligence analysis of the Defense Resources and Infrastructure Office (DRI). DRI's mission is to catalog and analyze military and civilian infrastructure and defense-related resources that underpin a nation’s or group’s military capabilities—including transportation, logistics, defense economics, energy systems, arms trade, physical vulnerability to weapon effects, defense industries, and the operational environment—to support U.S. and allied planners, targeteers, warfighters, policymakers, partners, and acquisition officials. Roles And Responsibilities
Conducts all-source analysis of foreign defense industrial networks, programs, infrastructure, and capabilities supporting a foreign country’s ability to develop, equip, sustain, and employ its land/ground military forces across basic, strategic, and military industries. Assesses research, development, acquisition, test, evaluation and production of foreign weapon systems and equipment; analyze their facilities and output levels; understand emerging and enabling technologies; and support industrial supply networks from raw materials to finished weapon systems. Analyze overall industrial organization, product output, production operation, processes, vulnerabilities, industrial control systems, design and surge capacities; evaluate cooperative arrangements with foreign defense industries and reliance on foreign technologies. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience producing all-source intelligence analysis reports and briefings and input to IC databases, or 7+ years of experience in all-source analysis in lieu of a degree. Knowledge of IC and Combatant Command environments. Ability to develop high-quality deliverables tailored to senior policymakers or defense stakeholders, including complex written products and formal or informal briefings. Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of experience with defense industries analysis such as industrial organization, production processes, foreign weapon systems and equipment, and their associated facilities and output levels. Knowledge of ICD 203/206 analytic tradecraft standards. Knowledge of the INDOPACOM AOR. Travel
