Completely remote with exception of in-person depositions and court hearings/trial 20 PTO days + your birthday + all firm-observed holidays Health insurance is 100% paid for the employee 401K once eligible Annual bonuses based on performance + awarded origination fees Cell phone reimbursement and a laptop is provided No billable hour requirement Responsibilities
Manage and strategize on cases from beginning to end (pre-litigation through trial) Attend court hearings & conduct and defend depositions and discovery Be proactive with client communication, particularly regarding injuries/medical treatment, and updating information in case management software Communicate with medical providers to stay current on client injuries/treatment as well as defense firms and insurance companies Evaluate potential PI claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients Attend mediations, arbitrations, trials, hearings, and depositions Supervise and delegate tasks to a support staff team Requirements
A JD from an accredited law school and barred in Massachusetts 4+ years of personal injury and/or insurance defense trial experience Able to take a case from inception to completion Superior negotiation and communication skills Ability to keep cases moving and update clients Client-facing experience with a high degree of emotional intelligence Bonus
