Overview

The Team:

HR Systems is a sub-team of Digital Enterprise Services in Health ICT responsible for Human Resources systems, platforms and integration (non-clinical). The team provides support to a range of corporate applications used in many business units across the agency including HR employee/position management, recruitment, rostering, internet/intranet and learning management systems. The team is statewide and works closely with business units across the Tasmanian Department of Health (DoH). The Role: The Business Consultant (HR Systems) will: Deliver high level consulting advice to the design, development, installation, maintenance, upgrade and operational administration of the departments of health corporate applications including Roster systems (ProAct, BOSS, Payroll Talk), Empower HR systems, Learning and Content Management Systems. This also includes overseeing the integration infrastructure and systems architecture. Provide leadership, management and coordination of technical activities required to develop, maintain and support the Rostering systems and other HR Systems as required. Responsibilities

Deliver high level consulting advice to the design, development, installation, maintenance, upgrade and operational administration of the department\'s health corporate applications including Rostering systems, Empower HR systems, Learning and Content Management Systems, and oversee the integration infrastructure and systems architecture. Provide leadership, management and coordination of technical activities required to develop, maintain and support the Rostering systems and other HR Systems as required. You will need

Demonstrated expertise in business analysis, with a strong ability to translate customer business needs into application and operational requirements. Demonstrated experience in corporate health applications including: rostering and payroll systems human resource systems learning and content management systems. Expertise in project management, together with high level skills and experience in the analysis and implementation of business process improvements and change management. High-level communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to clearly translate technical talk to non-technical staff and stakeholders in a meaningful manner. Demonstrated ability to work constructively as a senior member of a team, including experience in working effectively within a political environment subject to work pressure, competing priorities, ambiguity and change. Permanent, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight and commencing as soon as possible. Please note we will accept applications from the North & South. Salary and benefits

Salary:

$107,899 to $122,292 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Salary range is in accordance with Agreement Health and Human Service (Tasmanian State Service) Award.
