Position Overview The

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

will serve as a

strategic and operational finance leader , partnering closely with the CEO, Board, and private equity sponsor to drive enterprise value creation. This individual will oversee all financial functions—including accounting, FP&A, treasury, investor relations, and M&A integration—while building a scalable finance infrastructure to support rapid growth.

The ideal candidate is

hands-on, data-driven, and deeply familiar with the SaaS industry , including ARR metrics, subscription revenue recognition, and recurring revenue forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

Lead all aspects of financial management, including accounting, FP&A, treasury, and tax.

Partner with executive leadership and PE sponsors to define and execute growth and value-creation strategies.

Build and lead a high-performing finance and accounting organization aligned with the company’s growth trajectory.

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes, ensuring accurate and actionable insights.

Establish financial KPIs, dashboards, and analytics to drive operational performance and decision-making.

Manage cash flow, capital structure, and financing activities in collaboration with investors and lenders.

Support M&A strategy—financial modeling, due diligence, integration, and synergy tracking.

Ensure GAAP compliance and maintain strong internal controls, policies, and audit readiness.

Drive automation and system improvements to enhance scalability and reporting accuracy.

Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Board, providing clear and timely communication of financial performance and risks.

Qualifications

15+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including senior leadership roles.

Proven track record as a

CFO or senior finance executive in a SaaS or subscription-based business .

Deep understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, MRR, CAC, LTV, churn, etc.) and revenue recognition under ASC 606.

Prior experience in a

private equity-backed environment

with successful exit or recapitalization preferred.

Strong background in M&A, financial systems, and performance improvement.

Hands-on leadership style with the ability to operate both strategically and tactically.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;

CPA or MBA

preferred.
