Summary
QuEra Computing is seeking an experienced
Full-Stack Developer
to join a fast-growing startup and help build the next generation of quantum computer management systems. In this role, you’ll contribute to our backend services written in Kotlin/Spring Boot and help shape and build our future user interface. Responsibilities
Develop and maintain backend services using Kotlin/Spring Boot. Contribute to the frontend user interface using JavaScript/TypeScript with modern UI frameworks (e.g., React or Vue). Collaborate with teammates, take ownership of features, and deliver high-quality software. Work with SQL and NoSQL databases and ensure robust, scalable data interactions. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and/or Kubernetes. Design and consume HTTP/RESTful web services. Qualifications
5–10 years of professional software development experience. Backend development experience in Kotlin, Java, or another object-oriented language, with an interest in using Kotlin. Frontend development experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern UI frameworks like React or Vue. Self-motivated team player with a strong sense of ownership. Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases. Familiarity with Docker and/or Kubernetes. Strong understanding of HTTP and RESTful web services. Preferred Experience
Experience with distributed cloud-native architectures. Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures. Experience with event streaming platforms like Pulsar, Kafka, Pub/Sub, or Kinesis. Experience with AWS or other cloud service providers. Exposure to UI/UX design principles or building developer-friendly tools. Nice to Have
Experience with Python. Experience working in agile, scrum, or kanban environments. Experience or exposure to embedded development concepts. Quantum-curious, though not required. Why QuEra?
