Vice President of Revenue Cycle Services
to lead our fast-growing business unit. This role reports directly to the CFO and works cross-functionally with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), including Product, Finance, Client Success, and Engineering. The
Vice President of Revenue Cycle Services
will serve as the executive leader of HCHB’s fast-scaling RCM business, bringing strategic rigor, operational depth, and client-centric innovation to a critical revenue-generating function. With full P&L ownership and cross-functional influence across Sales, Product, Finance, and Client Success, this leader will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality services, exceptional outcomes, and transformative growth. This role is based in Dallas, Texas with flexibility for remote/hybrid work. Occasional travel (~10–20%) may be required for client visits, team engagement, and executive leadership meetings. What You Will Do
Strategic & Financial Leadership
Set the strategic vision and roadmap for RCM, ensuring alignment with HCHB’s broader enterprise and client goals. Own full P&L accountability, including pricing strategy, financial forecasting, service profitability, and ROI delivery. Act as executive sponsor for major RCM clients and strategic partnerships.
Operational Excellence
Lead all facets of revenue cycle operations - coding, billing, collections, denials management, cash reconciliation, credentialing, and reporting. Leverage KPIs, workflow automation, and best practices to improve speed, accuracy, and cash flow performance. Sample KPIs may include DSO reduction, clean claim rate, denial rate improvement, cash acceleration, client SLA attainment, and margin contribution per account. Ensure delivery of client SLAs, internal performance metrics, and compliance benchmarks.
Global Team Management
Lead a diverse, high-performing team across domestic and offshore geographies. Instill a culture of accountability, agility, and client excellence. Hire, develop, and retain top talent while building leadership succession within the RCM organization.
Client Engagement & Growth
Collaborate with Sales, Implementation, and Client Success to support seamless onboarding, expansion, and value delivery. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering strategic insights on optimizing their RCM performance.
Risk, Compliance & Governance
Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations (e.g., HIPAA, CMS), payer policies, and audit frameworks. Monitor and proactively respond to industry and payer changes affecting RCM operations.
What You Will Bring
15+ years of progressive leadership in Revenue Cycle Management, preferably within complex care settings (home health, hospice, post-acute, or multi-site healthcare services). Demonstrated success scaling multi-site/global operations and leading large cross-functional teams. Deep P&L ownership experience with a consistent record of improving financial performance and client satisfaction. Expert-level understanding of RCM processes, coding (ICD-10, CPT, HCC), payer policy, and regulatory landscape. Familiarity with EMR/RCM software platforms, clearinghouses, and healthcare payment ecosystems. Experience implementing or partnering on RCM automation, AI/ML-based claims adjudication, or workflow optimization solutions. Executive presence with exceptional communication, negotiation, and strategic problem-solving skills. Optional Additions: Experience leading RCM transformation initiatives (e.g., automation, AI/ML, platform modernization). Experience with outsourced/offshore vendor management and KPI oversight.
