The community you’ll be caring for : AdventHealth Riverview

AdventHealth is expanding our medical expertise, innovation, and state-of-the-art technology to southern Hillsborough County through a brand-new hospital in Riverview, which is scheduled to open in 2024.

The new AdventHealth Riverview hospital will include 82 beds at time of opening with space to expand to 202 beds in the future.

This $250 million project in Riverview also includes a 100,000 square foot, four-story Medical Office Building that will provide community members convenient access to expert care.

The role you’ll contribute Ensures, leads and facilitates departmental and organization-wide compliance with all life safety codes, infection control, environment of care, DNV, legal and all regulatory and accrediting agency requirements. Applies the principles of continuous quality improvement to measure, monitor and assess effectiveness and potential adverse effects of delivery of service to optimize improvement in services and/or prevent patient injury

Demonstrates twenty four hour responsibility and accountability for operations, quality of services, and all aspects of safety and maintenance programs within the institution.

Ensures provision of quality services by maintaining appropriate resources, staffing levels, competency of staff, maintenance/ and performance of equipment, instrumentation calibration, physical space, and training and education of staff.

Demonstrates responsibility and accountability for all aspects of safety and maintenance programs of the institution. Ensures safe, well-maintained environment of care assuring the safety and well-being of patients, family, physicians, staff, and visitors throughout organization.

Manages and monitors all aspects of maintenance (preventive, corrective and scheduled) and construction projects to ensure quality standards are met. Demonstrates current knowledge and competency in regulatory compliance and ensures active organizational wide ongoing educational programs for self and staff

Qualifications The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

Bachelor's

4+ Leadership Experience

4+ of experience in health care engineering

Exceptional organizational skill

DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State
