Overview

Infosys is seeking an Amazon Connect Architect. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

Responsibilities

• Interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle, including requirements elicitation, architecture definition and design.
• Create high level design artifacts and deliver high quality code deliverables for a module.
• Lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty.
• Contribute to a learning culture where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

Required Qualifications

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate. This position may require travel to project locations.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• 10+ years hands-on application development experience using AWS services to design telephony solutions – Amazon Connect, Lex, Lambda, Lambda Layers, DynamoDB, S3, Kinesis, Glue, Athena, QuickSight, Route53, CloudFront, API Gateway, VPC, KMS, IAM, CloudWatch, SNS, Cognito, KMS, WAF, Data Sync, CloudTrail, etc.
• 7+ years hands-on programming experience in Lambda development using Java, Node.js, and Python.
• 5+ years of knowledge and experience in designing CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Maven and Terraform.
• Experience in REST and SOAP APIs development including security design.
• Ability to drive project efforts and collaborate with multiple teams within the organization.
• Go-getter attitude and curiosity to learn new skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong experience in serverless IaC – Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• Produce/change architecture artifacts (L0/L1) required for the project.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Maven and Terraform.
• Experience in REST and SOAP APIs development including security design.
• Ability to drive project efforts and collaborate with multiple teams within the organization.
• Go-getter attitude and curiosity to learn new skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong experience in serverless IaC – Terraform and/or CloudFormation.

Additional Information

• The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
