Overview

Base pay range: $17.00/hr - $18.00/hr

Arlo Hotels is seeking a dynamic Dishwasher/Porter. This role focuses on maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas to support a high standard of service.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
• Ensure all dishes, glassware, plastic containers, pots and pans are clean, dry, and grease-free and stored neatly.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks.
• Clean garbage cans with appropriate cleaning supplies.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
• Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.
• Sort and remove trash and place it in designated pickup areas.
• Sweep, scrub and mop floors; ensure no standing water on the kitchen floors per health codes.
• Replenish paper towels and soap at every handwashing sink throughout the kitchen.
• Perform weekly deep cleaning of ice machines and daily spot cleaning.

Requirements

• Must have 2 or more years of experience as a dishwasher/porter at a comparable restaurant or hotel.
• Must have a basic understanding of the English language.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stay on your feet for 8 hours or more.
• Must have basic knowledge of sanitation procedures.
