Overview
Base pay range: $17.00/hr - $18.00/hr Arlo Hotels is seeking a dynamic Dishwasher/Porter. This role focuses on maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas to support a high standard of service. Responsibilities
Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand. Ensure all dishes, glassware, plastic containers, pots and pans are clean, dry, and grease-free and stored neatly. Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks. Clean garbage cans with appropriate cleaning supplies. Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition. Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas. Sort and remove trash and place it in designated pickup areas. Sweep, scrub and mop floors; ensure no standing water on the kitchen floors per health codes. Replenish paper towels and soap at every handwashing sink throughout the kitchen. Perform weekly deep cleaning of ice machines and daily spot cleaning. Requirements
Must have 2 or more years of experience as a dishwasher/porter at a comparable restaurant or hotel. Must have a basic understanding of the English language. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to stay on your feet for 8 hours or more. Must have basic knowledge of sanitation procedures. Seniority level
