Overview

Pay Range: $25hr - $28.99hr

Responsibilities

  • Perform administrative and clerical duties to support the Deputy Commissioner for Protective Operations’ Office.
  • Maintain an organized filing system and ensure timely processing of requests.
  • Distribute time-sensitive mail and correspondence to Central Office Divisions, Regions, and Areas.
  • Coordinate staff onboarding activities.
  • Track departmental spending and prepare invoices for payment processing.
  • Prepare travel reimbursements, TAFS, ethics forms, and monitor approval status with EOHHS.
  • Designate priority levels for action items and track completion in coordination with the Director of Administration.
  • Manage daily scheduling requests for the Deputy Commissioner, ensuring accuracy and inclusion of agendas and materials.
  • Exercise discretion and confidentiality in managing sensitive information and meeting requests.
  • Monitor and track scheduling requests, preparing for weekly check-in meetings with leadership.
  • Provide courteous and professional phone coverage; triage calls to appropriate staff or units.
  • Upload, track, and update documents using Microsoft Teams and other internal systems.
  • Assist in preparing materials for briefings, presentations, and reports for key stakeholders such as the Governor’s Office, EOHHS, OCA, legislature, and federal agencies.
  • Provide backup coordination and coverage for other Central Office units as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Administration.

Experience

  • Proven experience in administrative or executive support roles.
  • Experience in government, public administration, or similar organizational settings preferred
