Base pay range
$100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr
Additional compensation types
Annual Bonus and Sign-on bonus
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop embedded electronic hardware, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and component selection.
- Create and optimize power supply circuits for efficiency, safety, and performance.
- Ensure hardware meets safety and compliance standards (UL, EMI/EMC, etc.).
- Perform FMEA and risk assessments to improve reliability and reduce potential failures.
- Create schematic and PCB design documentation.
- Oversee prototype builds, validation testing, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain detailed design documentation and contribute to process improvements.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in embedded electronics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in embedded hardware design.
- Strong background in power electronics, reliability design, and FMEA.
- Skilled in PCB design software; experience with circuit simulation tools preferred.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and collaboration skills.
