OPTI STAFFING GROUP IS HIRING. Opening: Janitor/Maintenance. Location: Anchorage, AK. Pay: $16.00 - $18.00.

We are partnering with a long standing job shop that supports construction, heavy equipment, fishing, forestry, marine, and oil and gas projects. The crew is hands on, the pace is steady, and pride in a clean safe shop really matters.

What you’ll do

• Keep production areas clean and organized sweeping, mopping, trash and scrap removal
• Restock supplies and keep common areas ready for the next shift
• Handle simple preventative tasks like wiping down machines and checking fluids under guidance
• Run local errands and supply pickups in a company vehicle
• Follow safety rules and use PPE correctly
• Pitch in on other tasks as needed to keep the day moving

Requirements

• Valid driver license and a clean driving record for local errands
• Able to be on your feet, bend, lift, and carry up to fifty pounds safely
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to follow directions
• Basic mechanical comfort around tools and equipment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior shop or facilities experience is a plus but not required
