Job Details

Responsibilities

• Work on a range of projects, including high-end residential, light commercial, retail buildings, educational, and municipal.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting and work with high voltage systems.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems.
• Ensure all work is in compliance with relevant codes and safety regulations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Provide expert advice and recommendations on electrical design and installation.
• Maintain and repair electrical equipment as necessary.
• Use a range of hand and power tools effectively and safely.
• Train and mentor junior electricians and other construction staff.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and codes.

Qualifications

• A valid electrical license (preferred)
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry
• Proven experience in residential, high-end residential, light commercial, educational, and municipal electrical work
• Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and working with high voltage systems
• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems installation
• A strong understanding of electrical safety and building code compliance
• Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints
• Skills in equipment repair and electrical equipment maintenance
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
