Overview
The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving coffee, espresso, tea, and specialty beverages with precision and warmth. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong product knowledge, and the ability to create memorable guest interactions in a fast-paced environment. The Barista also supports the cleanliness, inventory, and presentation of the café or coffee service area. This full-time position has an hourly rate of $18.00 per hour.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Prepare all espresso drinks, teas, and specialty beverages to exact specifications
- Ensure all items are made with consistent quality, presentation, and timing
- Provide warm, engaging, and knowledgeable service to every guest
- Maintain a clean and organized station throughout service
- Monitor stock of coffee, milk, syrups, and related supplies, and restock as needed
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
- Process payments accurately using POS system and handle guest orders efficiently
