Overview

Large nationwide company is currently hiring an IT Support Specialist for their I.T. Department. The position is full time and a permanent role with the company. The office hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The company provides a generous benefits package after a 90 day probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support over the phone for software and hardware issues or upgrades.
• Monitor the Company computer system(s) and networks; install and configure computer systems, diagnose hardware and software faults and solve technical issues.
• Install on-site employee hardware; diagnose and solve hardware or software faults; order and replace parts as required.
• Set up new user accounts for employees nationwide.
• Travel with management to set up new offices (about twice a year).
• Work closely with other department staff members and employees in the company; maintain a friendly, team-oriented atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Applicants who have a degree and some experience working as an IT Help Desk Technician are encouraged to apply.
• The I.T. Support Specialist should have a passion for information technology and customer service.
• You must be diligent, timely and have exceptional follow through.
