Summary

Leads, promotes, and supports a comprehensive, customer sensitive department that, in concert with user groups, provides capital planning, acquisition, inventory, maintenance, disposal, CMMS and The Joint Commission (TJC) compliance for a growing inventory of biomedical Clinical Care Equipment (CCE); leads a team of direct reports, contractors and clinical stakeholders to create a fully compliant, cost effective and responsive CCE function.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in a technical-related or business-related field and the equivalent of twenty (20) years of full-time experience in ten (10) or more of the following areas: database and spreadsheet development and utilization, experience in a large complex organization working effectively with a diverse group, medical related equipment management and use, inventory management, maintenance management, cost analysis and control, contract writing and negotiating, service contract management, leased equipment management, process mapping and new process development, The Joint Commission compliance, capital planning and budgeting, QA/QC processes and personnel supervision.

Note

Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
