Overview
Torch Technologies is seeking a Senior Kubernetes Administrator to manage and optimize our Kubernetes clusters across cloud environments. You will ensure cluster reliability, security, and performance while enabling developers with streamlined tools and workflows. Responsibilities
Manage the full lifecycle of Kubernetes clusters: setup, upgrades, scaling, and troubleshooting. Implement RBAC, security best practices, and workload optimization. Build and maintain infrastructure services across cloud platforms (compute, storage, networking, IAM, monitoring). Develop internal tools for developer self-service and platform automation. Integrate monitoring, logging, and security into Kubernetes platforms. Collaborate with developers to design scalable and efficient workflows. Required Qualifications
US Citizenship. Bachelor\'s Degree (Master\'s Degree preferred) in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent experience. Minimum 10+ years in platform, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering. Clearance Requirements: Active or eligible for DoD Security Clearance. Deep expertise in Kubernetes administration, Helm, Operators, and service mesh technologies. Hands-on experience with EKS, AKS, or GKE clusters. Proficient with Kubectl, CNI plugins, and workload scheduling. Experience with cloud infrastructure at IL5-6 levels. Strong automation and infrastructure-as-code skills (Terraform, Ansible). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling (ArgoCD, Helm charts). Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Tools / Technologies
