GNSS Network Engineer — Trimble Inc. Location: Westminster, Colorado, USA. Our department: Trimble Advanced Positioning. What You Will Do

Trimble Advanced Positioning is offering a full-time position for a professional with experience in geodetic survey, geomatics, or information technology to join our team in Hoehenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn (Munich area), Germany. The selected candidate will monitor and manage operational networks delivering Trimble’s real-time CenterPoint RTX service and the regional Trimble VRS Now real-time services. These are subscription-based GNSS correction streaming services delivered from our server systems via Internet or satellite broadcast to enable precise GNSS positioning. The candidate will monitor and operate high-availability systems as part of a 24x7x365 Follow the Sun network operations team across Germany, Australia, and the United States. Responsibilities include monitoring, operating, and building monitoring and automation based on service metrics. A third focus is maintaining CORS (Continuously Operating Reference Station) infrastructure as a fundamental network for the services. Domestic and international travel up to 10% of working time may be required. Key Responsibilities

Monitoring and maintaining real-time GNSS correction services. Develop new approaches for monitoring GNSS and IT infrastructure. Monitor and troubleshoot the global CORS infrastructure (focus on Europe). Provide 3rd level support to Trimble Advanced Positioning customer care; give technical advice and answer service questions. Skills & Experience Required

Intermediate knowledge of GNSS systems. Basic practical knowledge of IT networking. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Outgoing personality with ability to reach out to people. Good verbal and written English communication within a technical context. Nice-to-Have Skills

Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in geomatics, geodetic surveying, or a related field. Experience in geodetic surveying and GNSS systems with a focus on GNSS corrections and positioning. Hands-on experience with Trimble or other GNSS hardware and software. Experience in data analysis, metrics, and building monitoring systems (e.g., Grafana, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, InfluxDB, DataDog). Basic programming skills in Python or PowerShell (data analysis or process automation). About Your Location

Hybrid location verbiage: Under a flexible work arrangement. In a hybrid role, you will work with your manager to establish a mutually agreeable schedule for time in the office based on the position and business needs. Typically hybrid positions are 3 days per week in the office. Compensation

Hiring range: $70,278.00 – $91,478.00 per year. Pay rate type: Salary.
