Trimble Advanced Positioning The selected candidate will join a team that monitors and manages the operational networks that deliver Trimble’s real-time CenterPoint RTX and regional Trimble VRS Now real-time services. These are subscription-based GNSS correction streaming services delivered from server systems via internet or satellite broadcast to enable precise GNSS positioning. The role involves monitoring, operating, and helping to build monitoring and automation based on service metrics, with a focus on keeping CORS infrastructure alive as a fundamental network for the services. The position supports a 24x7x365 "Follow the Sun" network operations model across Germany, Australia, and the United States, with some days requiring strict working hours. A limited amount of domestic and international travel (less than 10% of working time) is required. Key Responsibilities
Monitoring and maintaining real-time GNSS correction services
Develop new approaches for monitoring and processes around GNSS and IT infrastructure
Monitoring and troubleshooting the global CORS infrastructure (main focus on Europe)
Provide 3rd level support to the Trimble Advanced Positioning customer care team, giving technical advice and answering general service questions
Skills & Experience required
Intermediate knowledge about GNSS systems
Basic practical knowledge of IT networking
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Outgoing personality and ease of reaching out to people
Good verbal and written communication skills in English within a technical context
Nice to have skills
A bachelor’s or associate's degree in geomatics, geodetic surveying, or a related field
Experience in geodetic surveying and knowledge about GNSS systems with focus on GNSS corrections and positioning
Hands-on experience with Trimble or other GNSS hardware and software
Experience in data analysis, working with metrics and building monitoring systems (e.g. Grafana, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, InfluxDB, DataDog)
Basic programming skills in Python or PowerShell (with focus on data analysis or process automation)
Location & Working Arrangement
Hybrid location verbiage: Under a flexible work arrangement company policy. In a hybrid role, you will work with your manager to establish a mutually agreeable schedule for time in the office based on the position and business need. Typically hybrid positions are 3 days per week in the office. Compensation
Hiring Range $70,278.00–$91,478.00 Pay Rate Type Salary Bonus Eligible? No Commission Eligible? No Benefits:
