Platform Engineer (Kubernetes) role at Quindar. This range is provided by Quindar. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Base pay range $120,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr What You’ll Be Doing

Architect, automate, test, deploy, and maintain a well-designed and highly available software infrastructure deployed in Kubernetes within cloud or on-premises environments. Implement practices to enable DevSecOps with a focus on security and compliance for SOC2, NIST 800-171, and FedRAMP Medium controls. Own the Kubernetes deployment strategy and work with the software development team to ensure a successful architecture and software product. Help develop secure ingress and egress to customer and vendor data centers in a multi- and single-tenant environment. Provide best practices for availability, latency, and performance of services as the team develops. Spend time working directly with Quindar’s customers to ensure successful architecture deployments to both cloud environments and offline or secure facilities while aligning to a clean infrastructure vision. This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days in-office in Irvine, CA or Arvada, CO with a flexible schedule and remote work where possible. Tech Skills

Expertise managing Kubernetes-based architecture and providing platform infrastructure in a production environment Strong proficiency developing Infrastructure as Code (IAC) solutions using Terraform or alternative tools Proficiency in Python and experience working with software teams developing distributed microservice software capabilities Working knowledge of monitoring tools such as New Relic, DataDog, Splunk, AWS CloudWatch or similar Familiarity with cloud services in AWS (preferred) / Azure / GCP and ability to make trades on cloud native vs self-hosted software capabilities Understanding of networking using VPNs, NLB/ALB, HTTPS, TLS, and CDN Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, containerized applications, and serverless architecture Strong knowledge of designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting APIs, services, distributed NoSQL and relational databases, caching systems, event-driven and multi-tier architectures Strong knowledge of task automation and CI/CD pipeline building, preferably with GitHub Actions but not required Understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems Knowledge of cloud security best practices and cost-effective cloud architecture Use of identity and access management via Auth0 or Okta Familiarity with Git and GitHub or similar version control Soft Skills

Deep technical analysis and troubleshooting skills Independent self-starter; able to complete projects on time with minimal guidance A high standard for software maintainability, quality, resilience, and performance Strong communications skills and ability to engage effectively across development teams, program management, and customers Background Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field) 3+ years of professional experience as a reliability, systems, DevOps, infrastructure, or platform engineer Active U.S. Security Clearance (TS/SCI) Why you’ll love working at Quindar
