Project Engineer I (Mount Crawford, VA) - ID 2025-19858; Job Locations US-VA-Mount Crawford; Number of People to Hire: 1; Job Family: Manufacturing; Level of Experience: Experienced Professionals. Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities: Project execution of current (Processing, Packaging, Building and Utility) projects Work with Engineering Manager to align on project priorities Work with CAPEX analyst to manage the capital forecast and budget for each project Create, design and evaluate initial call for tender documents with the Engineering Manager Work with Regional Engineering teams during bidding processes and technical alignment Work with the CAPEX procurement team to align on priorities and contract negotiations Travel required occasionally for training or plant projects. Qualifications
Job Qualifications: Experience and working knowledge in: Integrated automation and controls technology High speed packaging systems design Dairy process engineering and PMO, 3A standards Plant based process engineering Manufacturing plant utility systems
Must be organized and self-disciplined to accommodate the management of concurrent projects Excellent conflict resolution and interpersonal skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work flexible hours, including weekend or late shifts, during installation/startup periods Experience and Education
Experience and Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree in an Engineering, Food Science or relevant degree from an accredited College or University 3 to 5 years of experience
3 years of relevant Engineering experience required, preferably in CPG beverage/food manufacturing
