We are looking for you to join our team as a Staff Software Engineer based in McClellan, CA. The Staff Software Engineer will have deep C and C++ skills. You will be responsible to create and maintain mission critical capabilities for our customers. You are a team player who is motivated to provide the highest quality products to our warfighters.

Responsibilities

Develop and Debug C and C++ code in a SCIF environment

Maintain and enhance SIGINT processing systems

Write or update technical documentation, test procedures

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors in Science (BS) degree in science, engineering, or related discipline with 12 years of experience; 10 years of relevant experience with Masters (MS) degree; 8 years with a PhD and experience with the following technologies and tools.

C, C++, Java

Rational ClearCase

Linux, VxWorks

Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance

This position is contingent upon funding.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with one or more of the following: SIGNIT Systems

Real Time Processing

CORBA

Active TS/SCI security clearance

Salary Range:

Primary Level Salary Range: $171,000.00 - $256,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\'s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
