Job Description

Network Telecommunications Services: Responsible for connectivity and communications needs for the Institute. This includes network administration of routing, switching, unified communications, wireless and ISP connectivity. In addition, we manage AV operations and the telecom infrastructure inside/outside plant. Objectives Of This Role Handle centralized network management. Deploy new network equipment and process break/fix requests. Monitor device health via SNMP monitoring systems. Cross-train into other areas of responsibility on the Network Team. Daily And Monthly Responsibilities Configuration of routing and switching on network equipment from various manufacturers Configuration of SNMP monitoring systems Documentation of network through drawings, formal documentation and change control process Requirements Requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology or related degree field with relevant experience. In lieu of Bachelors degree a minimum 10 years directly related professional level network administrator experience with a minimum of Cisco Certified Network Professional or Aruba Certified Professional certification. Preferred Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Associate or higher, Aruba Certified Switching Associate or higher. 3 years: Enterprise network routing and switching. 1 years: Experience with SNMP monitoring systems. 1 years: Experience with Fortinet, Cisco and/or Aruba network equipment. A valid/clear driver's license is required.
