Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled AWS DevOps Engineer with a strong background in DevOps, release engineering, cloud computing, and containerization. This role will focus on managing AWS environments, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, supporting containerized applications, and ensuring compliance in regulated industries such as HIPAA, PCI, and ITAR. Responsibilities
Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, and CloudFormation Build, deploy, and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes Support and administer databases such as MySQL, MSSQL, Postgres, DynamoDB, MongoDB, and Elastic Search Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, Maven, and related DevOps tools Implement automation frameworks and configuration management using Puppet, Chef, or Ansible Write and maintain scripts in Python or Java to automate cloud and DevOps operations Ensure compliance with regulatory standards including HIPAA, PCI, and ITAR Participate in Agile and Scrum ceremonies, collaborating closely with development and operations teams Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve networking and security across cloud environments Provide clear documentation, reports, and effective communication across stakeholders Required Qualifications
Strong DevOps background with proven experience as a release engineer 4-7 years of hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) 5+ years of experience in overall cloud computing environments Strong experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Proficiency in basic administration of SQL and NoSQL databases Familiarity with regulated environments and security best practices Hands-on experience with scripting/programming (Python or Java) Strong understanding of CI/CD, automated testing, and source code management tools Excellent communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments Preferred Skills
