Physical Security Program Manager, DC Security AMER C
AWS Infrastructure Physical Security team is looking for a highly talented and motivated Physical Security System Project Manager and Technology Expert to lead physical security projects. This position will be responsible for the management of data center physical security systems and projects. A successful candidate will interpret Threat Assessments and AWS Physical Security Standards to ensure proper security mitigations meet the unique challenges in each area. You will collaborate with AWS architectural and engineering teams to ensure each data center meets AWS high physical security standards. After implementation, you will ensure local security teams have the technical knowledge and resources necessary to meet the physical security mission.
Key job responsibilities
Manage installation of approved physical security system hardware, including access control devices, intrusion detection devices, CCTV, and other components of physical security systems.
Design physical security systems for new construction, expansion, and retrofit projects.
Prepare security design standards, typical drawings, and technical specification documents for projects to be priced by approved vendors. Review and provide QA of vendor quotes. Submit complete and accurate vendor quote packages to the Infrastructure Technical Project Manager for inclusion in project requisitions.
Project management of multiple, concurrent security system installation projects and vendors.
Subject Matter Expert for physical security system testing and acceptance, and ensuring operational readiness at project completion.
Preparation and archiving of project close-out documentation.
Report vendor performance metrics regarding system installation, service delivery, and equipment availability/reliability.

Qualifications Basic Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
2+ years’ experience in physical security project management
2+ years' experience in Security Operations in technology, manufacturing, or similar industries, including access control systems, CCTV, and defense-in-depth strategies
Ability to travel within USA up to 25%
Preferred Qualifications
BA/BS degree or higher in related field
3+ years designing, installing, and integrating Access Control/Intrusion Detection and CCTV Surveillance systems
PSP, CPP, PMP Certification
Proficient in AutoCAD
Training in or experience with Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED)
Certification or hands-on experience with Lenel Access Control System
