Physical Security Program Manager, DC Security Amer‑NW Join Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Physical Security Program Manager for DC Security in the Amer‑NW region. This role is focused on leading physical security projects across AWS data centers, ensuring high standards of physical security and compliance.

Candidate Eligibility

At least 18 years old.

U.S. Citizenship or equivalent status (required for GovCloud region).

Key Responsibilities

Manage installation of approved physical security system hardware, including access control devices, intrusion detection devices, CCTV, and other components.

Design physical security system for new construction, expansion, and retrofit projects.

Prepare security design standards, typical drawings, and technical specification documents. Review and provide quality assurance of vendor quotes. Submit complete and accurate vendor quote packages to the Infrastructure Technical Project Manager for inclusion in project requisitions.

Project manage multiple, concurrent security system installation projects and vendors.

Serve as subject matter expert for physical security system testing and acceptance, ensuring operational readiness at project completion.

Prepare and archive project close‑out documentation.

Report vendor performance metrics regarding system installation, service delivery, and equipment availability/reliability.

Basic Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.

2+ years’ experience in physical security project management.

2+ years’ experience in security operations technology, including access control systems, CCTV, and defense in depth strategies.

Ability to travel up to 25% within the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

BA/BS degree or higher in a related field.

3+ years of experience designing, installing, and integrating access‑control, intrusion detection, and CCTV surveillance systems.

PSP, CPP, PMP certification.

Hands‑on experience with Lenel access control system.

Ability to manage multiple medium and large scale projects that are complex in nature.
