Overview
Senior Data Architect with Informatica Cloud & Snowflake Cloud Experience at Alvarez & Marsal (A&M). Alvarez & Marsal is a global consulting firm with over 10,000 professionals in over 40 countries. We seek a Senior Data Architect to advance our corporate IT division and contribute to the development and enhancement of our internal data warehouse and business intelligence systems supporting multiple business units.
Responsibilities
Develop data architecture strategies aligned with the company's goals.
Lead the redesign of the SQL-based data warehouse for scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
Design and oversee ETL development using Azure Data Factory and Informatica.
Consolidate and standardize ETL processes across systems.
Collaborate with ERP and other teams to review and integrate Master Data Management (MDM) requirements.
Support the data governance program to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
Utilize Informatica for data integration and management.
Improve existing and new subject areas within the SQL data warehouse.
Maintain high standards of data quality, consistency, and security across sources.
Gather requirements and set data architecture standards with stakeholders.
Create and maintain data models, data flow diagrams, and governance protocols.
Promote and implement best practices for data stewardship, integration, and warehousing.
Oversee and enhance data infrastructure for performance and scalability.
Provide expertise on data organization, analytics, and data cleansing.
Manage sensitive data with discretion and adherence to ownership protocols.
Train users on new data components and domain usage.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in data architecture, integration, and management.
Prior professional services experience preferred.
Proven success in deploying Informatica Cloud and Snowflake solutions.
Strong experience with the Azure data stack.
Well-versed in data structures and algorithms.
Ability to work with stakeholders to assess risks and translate business requirements into technical terms.
Experience with enterprise data, data warehousing, and Azure cloud data platforms.
Experience integrating multiple source systems, such as Salesforce and REST APIs.
Experience with modeling, warehousing, and ETL methodologies using cloud technologies in Microsoft stack and Snowflake.
High-level written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of building modern data reporting solutions in cloud technologies (Power BI a plus).
Compensation & Benefits The salary range is $150,000 - $180,000 annually, depending on education, experience, skills, and geography. Eligible employees may participate in a discretionary bonus program. Benefits for regular full-time employees include healthcare plans, flexible spending accounts, life and disability coverage, 401(k) with discretionary contributions, paid time off (vacation, personal days, sick time, holidays, floating holiday), and parental leave.
