What to Expect Job Responsibilities
Lead architecture and design initiatives for Cells, Organizations, and OrgMover to enhance scalability and reliability
Address complex challenges in distributed systems, including tenant isolation and fault tolerance
Collaborate with product and executive teams to align technical strategies with business objectives
Mentor engineers across teams, fostering technical leadership and collaboration
Provide thought leadership on SaaS scaling and platform reliability within and outside the organization
What is Required
Extensive experience in designing, developing, and operating large distributed systems in a SaaS context
Hands-on programming experience in Ruby and/or Go, with the ability to guide technical design
Proven track record of leading transformations from monolithic to distributed architectures
Expertise in service communication and observability at scale
Excellent communication skills to convey complex systems to varied audiences
How to Stand Out
Experience in regulated or high-reliability domains (finance, healthcare, government, telecom)
Familiarity with Postgres sharding or other database partitioning strategies
