Overview

Project Engineer II - HTF Test (HTF) at Honeywell. You will lead engine testing on a variety of advanced technology, new product development and sustaining programs. You will partner with engineers and technicians to define test objectives, instrument and build test articles and execute and document engine tests. You will also support planning and execution of small-to-medium-sized development and capital improvement products. Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional teams to define, plan and execute tests required to meet program objectives. Write assembly instructions, test instructions and test reports. Prepare estimates for engine test activities. Manage test article and related hardware, instrumentation and data acquisition systems. Create project cost and schedule estimates. Lead execution of test-related projects. Develop and track detailed schedules with established milestones. Identify risks and opportunities; develop and execute mitigation/realization plans. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (e.g., science, technology, engineering, mathematics). 1+ years of experience as a mechanical or aerospace engineer with a focus on hardware and/or test. Experience with testing of mechanical systems; experience with turbomachinery is valued. Self-motivated with ability to work with little supervision and take initiative. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders, external customers and suppliers. Project management skills including cost and schedule management; good teambuilding and leadership abilities. Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills; ability to recognize risks and develop mitigation plans. Excellent oral and written communications; ability to prioritize time and resources effectively. U.S. Person Requirements
