Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Swiss/CNC Setup Technician & Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up Swiss/CNC machines, writing Swiss/CNC programs, and providing technical troubleshooting support to the production team. Occasional operation of machines may be required per schedule requirements. This role involves ensuring the production of high-quality precision-machined components in a safe and efficient manner in a timely fashion to meet production schedule demands. Benefits and perks

Tool and set-up Swiss/CNC machines to produce products in accordance with production needs and customer specifications. Some operation of these machines may be required as schedule demands. Perform machine maintenance and maintain an organized & clean work area. Capture detailed records of machine setups, production runs, quality checks, and machine maintenance. Raise to supervisor any product discrepancies, equipment malfunctions, and other events that put production at risk. Write Swiss/CNC machine programs for the production team to accurately produce conforming parts. Provide technical support to the production team, identifying tooling needs, assisting with machine setups, troubleshooting, assisting with machine repair, and coordinating machine maintenance. Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance team on resolving production nonconformances. Identify and implement process improvements and opportunities for cost reductions, including design suggestions, production process changes, and application of lean principles. Train other Swiss/CNC technicians and operators to become proficient in setups and programming. Comply with safety regulations and company policies. Qualifications

5+ years of experience in setting up, operating, and programming CNC Swiss and/or CNC lathe machines. Citizen/Miyano and Daewoo/Doosan experience a plus. Proficiency in Swiss/CNC programming (Mastercam & WinCNC experience a plus). Proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planners (ERP) is a plus (ProShop preferred). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications and understand fractions / decimals. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (e.g. micrometers, calipers, and gages). Experience with Keyence, optical comparator equipment, concentricity gage, and profilometer a plus. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent skills in organization and planning and demonstrated ability to work independently. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. About Us
