Security & Fire Protection Multi-Operations Specialist (Mid-Level or Senior)

to join the team and work out of

Auburn, WA .

Under the general direction of the Site S&FP Senior Manager, this position has overall responsibility of badging operations, information protection, access control, and video surveillance systems (VSS) at the Auburn and Frederickson sites.

While access control, VSS, and other physical security components are specific to Auburn and Frederickson, the position provides badging support for Auburn, Frederickson, Portland, Portland International Airport (PDX), Helena, and Salt Lake City sites.

The Multi-Operations Specialist develops and implements procedures to ensure compliance with Enterprise Badging Operations and access requirements. This position also provides leadership for access control, and VSS, ensuring proper configuration, maintenance, and integration with enterprise standards.

This role partners with the Security Technology, Assessments, & Risk Compliance (STARC) to safeguard facilities, protect sensitive information and maintain compliance with information protections requirements at the Auburn and Fredrickson sites.

Position Responsibilities

Oversee the full badge lifecycle (request, vetting, production, issuance, renewal, suspension, and recovery) for Auburn and Frederickson and provide remote/coordination support for Portland, PDX, Helena, and Salt Lake City sites

Ensure compliance with Enterprise Badging Operations standards and requirements across all supported sites

Serve as site-level badging subject matter expert (SME) and provide guidance, exception handling, and training to site stakeholders

Administer and maintain access control and CCTV/VSS hardware and software

Monitor and respond to alarms and access anomalies

Coordinate vendor or facilities support for installation, maintenance, and upgrades

Retrieve and preserve video and access control data for investigations and audits

Represent security as a focal on contracts and projects

Partner with Security Technology, Assessments, and Risk Compliance (STARC) to ensure proper configuration, maintenance, and integration with enterprise standards

Implement and enforce physical security controls to protect proprietary, sensitive, and regulated information from unauthorized disclosure

Conduct inspections, risk assessments, and corrective action tracking to meet Boeing and regulatory standards, including export control requirements (ITAR)

Maintain and update site security plans

Track and report metrics such as badge issuance, camera uptime, and audit findings to drive continuous improvement

Participate in Site Assessments and Supplier Quality Assurance/Personnel Security Questionnaire (SQA/PSQ) to align with company policies & procedures, ensuring the site is inspection-ready at all times

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

3+ years of experience in law enforcement, security operations, and/or physical security

3+ years of experience managing security video systems (ex: Lenel or Milestone)

3+ years of experience creating and maintaining facility access badges

3+ years of experience with Intrusion Detection and Intrusion Prevention systems

3+ years of experience with Incident Response

Experience with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree or higher

Experience in multi-site or large campus security operations

Experience leading or mentoring staff or contractors

Experience with investigations and evidence handling related to access control or VSS events

Experience in the Aerospace industry

Strong written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills to communicate with leaders and colleagues

Pay ranges:

Summary pay range for Mid-Level: $85,000 - $115,000; Senior: $102,850 - $139,150
